Anand holds a Masters degree in Social Work from University of Delhi. After completing his masters in 2005, he worked for more than one year with Seva Mandir in Rajasthan in its Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation (PME) cell. Thereafter, he completed his M. Phil. degree in Planning and Development from IIT Bombay where he researched different agribusiness models in Maharashtra such as corporate and contract farming, agri-retail and supermarket chains. He joined CMF in July 2008 and is currently working on the Introduction of Flexible Repayment Schedule study in association with KAS Foundation, an MFI active in Orissa.
