Biography

Kaushik Kumar Bhattacharjee has joined Institute for Financial Management and Research as an Assistant Professor in data science domain. He was a research associate in IIT kharagpur before joining IFMR. He has done PhD form IIT kharagpur in the area of optimization. His dissertation work is on “Design and Analysis of Approximate Algorithms for Knapsack Problems”. He was associated with multiple numbers of development projects with Food Corporation of India, Indian Army, and Government of India. His research interests are mainly in the areas of Combinatorial Optimization, Global Optimization, Approximate Algorithms, Multi-objective Optimization, Statistical Learning, Machine Learning, Pattern Recognition, Data Mining, and Software Reliability Modeling.
