IFMR has always had a successful record in placements, be it Summer Internships or Final Placements, and this year saw no difference. While all students were placed in good profiles, the internship scenario saw the inclusion of some big names in the field like JP Morgan, Vedanta, Frost & Sullivan etc. which not only motivated the students to perform well but also added an additional touch of excellence to the academic sheen which IFMR possesses. While the students were prepared well for challenges which may come up during the selection process, they were also guided under a special mentor-mentee system, started by the management, which helped them to be clear on which stream they want to build their career in. A special committee consisting of faculty members and the management was also formed to help the students throughout the internship to ensure that IFMR puts its best foot forward at work. The companies visiting the campus were a mix of all sectors ranging from consultancy, retail and banking to resource development and manufacturing.
